Answer These Questions to Determine Your Level of Organizational Savvy...
We like to think of ourselves as organized and ready. No one cares to think of themselves as unprepared as a result of being unorganized. However, many people would be forced to reassess their methods of routine, when asked one simple question: how organized are you?
- Does it usually take you more than 10 minutes to find an important letter, bill, report, or other paper from your files or just lying around the house?
- Do you have a lot of loose papers lying on the table(s) or on your desk that you rarely need or look at?
- Has your electricity, telephone or cable service ever been interrupted because you forgot to pay the bill?
- Do you overlook appointments, anniversaries, or other important dates on a regular basis?
- Do magazines pile up unread?
- Do you frequently postpone work assignments for so long that they become emergency or panic situations?
- Do you frequently misplace your keys, wallet, purse, eyeglasses or other commonly carried items?
- Do your belongings gather in corners of closets or on the floor because you can't decide where to put them?
- Would your storage problems be solved if you had more storage space?
- Do you want to get organized but everything is in such a mess that you don't know where to start?
- Do your children have household chores that they willingly carry out?
- By the end of the average day, have you accomplished at least the most important tasks you set for yourself?
